Orchard Veterinary Centre's main surgery, in Sherwood, is a purpose-built RCVS accredited, first-opinion and orthopaedic referral practice. A smaller branch surgery provides first opinion care for our Hucknall and surrounding area clients.
Lorraine has been with Orchard since 2004 and enjoys her role of practice administrator. She enjoys meeting different people and interacting with their pets. Lorraine is married and has two Dobermans, Nelly and Zeus, who enjoy taking her for long walks! In her spare time Lorraine likes to run, keep fit and socialise with her family and friends.
Shauna joined the Orchard team in 2018. She initially came to cover maternity leave, but has stayed with us. Shauna has worked as a veterinary receptionist for several years before joining us at Orchard and thoroughly enjoys her role. She really loves working with animals and interacting with their owners. Shauna has Chase the Staffy cross who she rescued back in January 2019. Since joining the family Chase has come on leaps and bounds and enjoys going on long walks with Shauna and her two children.
Rachael joined our team as one of our receptionists at the Sherwood practice. She has been a client of ours for many years now with her dog, Scamp, who is known as the miracle pup! The brilliant bunch of vets and nurses saved his life when he was just weeks old and now Rachael says she feels privileged to be part of the wonderful Orchard family. Rachael enjoys spending her spare time walking Scamp, along with her new addition to the family Toby the Labrador and socialising with her partner, family and friends.
Phil enjoys working and being part of the caring team here at Orchard Vets. He enjoys meeting and getting to know all of our clients and their pets (especially puppies) but, much more than anything, seeing the poorly ones get better.
Emma has been working as a dog groomer since 2014. She became interested in dog grooming as she is a dog lover and was looking for a profession that she could channel her love of dogs into. Emma really enjoys the fact that no two days are the same at work and she gets to meet some great canine characters, as well as their owners.
